Funeral Preparation

On behalf of the parish team, please accept our deepest sympathies on the passing of your loved one. Be assured of our prayers at this time.

There are a number of steps in the preparation of the funeral liturgy. Families are asked to contact an undertaker, who will then liaise directly with the Parish to make the necessary arrangements for the Removal and Funeral Mass.

We hope to support families in a time of bereavement and to assist in making the Funeral Mass as meaningful and prayerful as possible.

To help with planning, a booklet has been prepared which includes a selection of suggested Readings, Responsorial Psalms, and Prayers of the Faithful appropriate for use during the Funeral Liturgy. The booklet is available to download here:
