On the evening of 29 April, our church was filled with music, light, and a wonderful sense of togetherness as we celebrated a special concert as part of our 150th Church Jubilee.
We were delighted to welcome around 300 people, including many visitors from beyond the Parish, who joined us for this uplifting occasion. The TU Dublin Chamber Choir, with over 30 outstanding young singers, gave a magnificent performance of Mozart’s Vespers solennes de confessore, along with other sacred works, accompanied by gifted soloists and talented musicians on violin, piano, and bassoon. It was an evening of remarkable artistry and beauty.
Our sincere thanks go to the Jubilee Committee for their vision and careful organisation, and in a special way to those who worked closely behind the scenes to coordinate with the choir and bring everything together so beautifully. We also thank our dedicated Parish Volunteers and Hospitality Team for their warm welcome, and everyone who worked to make the evening run so smoothly.
We are especially grateful to the choir, conductor, soloists, and instrumentalists for sharing their talent so generously with us, and we look forward to many more opportunities in the future to welcome and collaborate with them again.
Thank you also to all who attended and to those who contributed so kindly through donations. Your generosity will greatly support the ongoing care and maintenance of our church.
